Visenza LLC is a company based in the USA. As this offering is directed at users in the German-speaking area (EU), we process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Depending on how you use visenza.us, we process:

  • technical data on site visits (e.g. aggregated, cookieless statistics, if used)
  • your confirmation of the age gate (18+), including a timestamp
  • for a purchase: your e-mail address, your name (as needed for invoicing), and details of the product purchased
  • your payment data, processed exclusively by CCBill as an independent controller for payment processing. We ourselves do not receive full payment/credit card data, only confirmation that a payment has been made
  • for access to the membership area (once available): login data and usage data within the membership area
  • your messages, if you write to us via the contact page or by e-mail

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing and securing the website: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, secure offering)
  • Processing a purchase (performance of contract): Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
  • Age verification before access to age-restricted content: Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR (legal obligation and/or legitimate interest in excluding minors from access)
  • Responding to your inquiries: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR

4. Payment processing via CCBill

Payments are processed exclusively via CCBill, LLC (Arizona, USA). CCBill processes your payment data (e.g. credit card data) as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We recommend reading it before making a purchase. The billing name agreed with CCBill (billing descriptor) appears on your credit card/account statement.

5. Recipients and processors

We use carefully selected providers:

  • CCBill, LLC (payment processing), USA, independently responsible
  • Cloudflare (hosting/content delivery, SSL)
  • [add further providers as the membership area is technically built, e.g. Supabase for login data]

6. Transfers to third countries

CCBill and any further US providers process data in the USA. This is safeguarded by the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. Age verification (18+)

Before accessing age-restricted content, you confirm via an age checkbox that you are at least 18 years old. We store the time of this confirmation so we can demonstrate, if disputed, that the check took place. [To be added if the lawyer determines that a third-party ID check is required: a section on the name, purpose, and legal basis of that check, before this feature goes live.]

8. Retention

  • Purchase-related data: as long as required by tax and commercial retention obligations (typically up to 10 years for invoicing records)
  • Contact inquiries: until fully processed, then deleted unless a retention obligation applies
  • Age confirmation: for the duration of the session, or as long as needed as evidence

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. An e-mail to christina (at) visenza (dot) co is sufficient to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

10. No medical or therapeutic advice

Visenza's content serves self-reflection and personal experience. It does not replace medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

11. Changes

We update this privacy policy when processing changes. The version published on this page at any given time applies.
